ceft and company has been commissioned by w hotels to work on branding and positioning for their hotels.
the challenge for w arose with the saturation of the market by boutique hotels such as: the ian schrager company, andre balazs, and jt hospitality (thompson hotels) and the need for w to reassess its leadership position.
the project entailed every aspect of consumer contact; from consultation on the global projection of the brand (through their numerous new hotels designed by renowned architects) to consultation on exclusive capsule collection suites in key flagship locations (as a press generating tool).
the project included proposals for their sponsorship programs for new york fashion week, and additional sponsorships of music, fashion, film and culturally relevant events. it went on to discussions about loyalty programs, brand language, brand benefits, brand book, and key ambassadors from the worlds of: music, fashion, design, culinary arts (established restaurants), media, fine art, and film.
