ceft and company surpassed expectations with the invite for maria sharapova’s dinner announcing her professional relationship with nike.
the physical invites were created to ensure they would be noticed, and were hand-delivered to key fashion editors in new york. the purpose was to meet maria sharapova and get to know the two sides of her story, the beautiful stylish maria, and the incredible and competitive tennis star that she is. the unusual invite brought in at least four times as many guests as nike had initially anticipated. the RSVP was so successful, nike extended the engagement to accommodate the interested parties. what’s more, is that the overwhelming success prompted nike to use the invite as a case study in their international marketing presentation.
