limited to one hundred frames. each frame is individually carved, hand-shaped and hand-polished from premium mazzucchelli acetate. frames designed in new york by ceft and company and hand made in new york at selima optiques artisanal atelier. box, case, and chamois all designed by ceft and company new york and hand assembled one by one – no two cases are alike.
based on a 60’s original frame
the glasses hold a quiet precision of old-world mastery. the frames were conceived from a half a century-old heirloom, replicated and altered to be worn, lived in, and ultimately passed on.

each angle, on the front-face and temples of the glasses, is shaped in homage to hanjani’s grandfather’s original late 50’s early 1960’s hand-made frames. the carved facets transform light into a quiet spectacle of shifting reflections, and as light travels across them, it reminds us of the time spent, and effort given by a pair of human hands shaping these frames.
every frame rests within a soft-case, which carries a subtle ceft and company mark. constructed with a single rivet on a light protective materials, reducing the case to only what is essential.
a final detail is embedded into the frame itself. a discreet inner marking holds the edition number 001/100, 002/100, etc, etched quietly where only the wearer will see it.
the case then sits in a hand-finished cardboard box. painted one-by-one revealing the brush strokes in the white paint on its surface. a subtle motif seen across ceft and company objects and collaborations, like the le labo candle. these gestures, mark each piece with an intentional imperfections… a simple cardboard form, elevated into something quietly personal.
