ceft and company engages on an exclusive fashion week social media contest with NARS cosmetic for the launch of NARS “make up your mind” make-up tutorial instructional book
the interactive social media site, makeup your mind, was based on the instructional beauty bible by francois NARS with the same title. the micro site’s main purpose was to broaden the NARS audience and allow inclusive accessibility for every girl interested in beauty and glamour.
visitors are show a tutorial from the book “makeup your mind: express yourself” and challenged to try their hand in creating the look. they then need to tally up the most engagement and be voted the winner of the contest which brings the finalist and a friend to NY during fashion week to enjoy the after parties, special dinner and outing arrangements and best of all to assist francois NARS during the the actual NY fashion week shows.
users can follow the step by step instructions and upload their looks based on one of twelve looks by francois.
the website is fully integrated, and users are encouraged to share images via social media channels to gain votes. the winner of this contest was awarded a grand prize that included an all-expense-paid trip to new york city for two (for our winner along with a friend) during fashion week.
in addition to the grand prize, twelve additional special prizes went to participants with the most votes, in each of the 12 challenges available on the site. the special prizes included an exclusive gift set, created for the launch of the makeup manual, “makeup your mind: express yourself”.
